When I was getting married for the second time at age 50, I was dreaming of an intimate experience with just Scott and me. We agreed that we wanted to be close to the ocean in a tropical paradise. We wanted a grassy setting where nature would provide the beautiful surroundings with views of the coastline. We found exactly that at the magical Travaasa Resort & Spa in Hana, Maui. Our intimate ceremony took place out on the bluff overlooking the waves crushing on the black lava rock which created a spectacular backdrop. After we came home from the Paradise of Maui, we had a dinner celebration with close friends and family catered by Pierre’s Catering.
